Guest House in Chennai at Besant Nagar

Beach facing guest house (like serviced apartment)/ short term rental, Chennai (with two bedrooms, living room, kitchen and wash area), for home stay at Besant Nagar, South Chennai/Madras, near Adyar – with certain features of resort/ holiday home. Following are the amenities and facilities:

• Separate split air conditioners for both bedrooms and also another for hall/ kitchen. Alternatively, option for obtaining good and bright natural lighting during daytime, cross ventilation and sea breeze , by opening windows on either side, besides utilising the 'French Window' in the hall.
  
  

• Well furnished; bunker bed, normal cots; Comfortable mattresses, spare bedding. Wardrobes/closets, hangers and simple locking facility for these wardrobes.
  
  

• Kitchen equipped with refrigerator, gas stove, microwave oven, hot plate, induction stove, electric rice cooker, pressure cooker, utensils, plates, crockery and containers of small, medium and bigger sizes for storing provisions. 
  
  

• Tea and coffee powder, milk, sugar, drinking water, provisions, cooking oil etc. for about 3 days' requirements would also be provided during check-in.
  
  

• High quality 'Reverse Osmosis' water filter unit installed for constant supply of clean and hygienic drinking water. 
  
  

• Separate portion inside kitchen for pooja/worship.
  
  

• Independent wash area and washing machine.
   

• Two bathrooms (with hand shower, head shower, mixer taps for hot/cold water and anti skid tiles). One bathroom has bath-tub.
   

• High speed WiFi internet (guests may use their laptop, smart phone, tablet) and TV with cable/set-top-box (several channels sports, news, entertainment, international channels, movies etc. in HD). 
  
  

• Nearby Shops, departmental and provision stores, pharmacies (many of these have home-delivery facility too), milk booth, and nearby temples (Ashtalakshmi, Varasiddhi Vinayakar, Rathnagirishwarar, Arupadai Murugan etc.) and Velankanni Church.
   

• In the event of electricity failure, Inverter/UPS for fans and lights. 
  
  

• Good restaurants and home service caterers nearby. These caterers supply breakfast, lunch and dinner, on order.
  
  

•  Community corporation park very near (just about 5 minutes' walk). This well laid out park has specific amenities for joggers/walkers and playing amenities for children.

• Strings within and outside the wash area to hang and dry clothes

This accommodation, as above, is however not a ‘Serviced Apartment’ (in the normal sense of this term), as food is not served. This is basically, a short term rental facility. However, home door delivery caterers and cooking facilities inside the guest house are available, as noted above.
